» DBM Range
DBM Range of sliding bearings is used in existence in the world from last 5 decades and by far the largest used sliding bearings in most of the applications. These bearings are steel shell backed with a lead bronze lining bearing material for oil lubricated applications. This material has high load capacity and good fatigue properties. It is widely used in automotive applications such as compressors, steering gear, power steering, pedal bearings, king-pin bushes, tailgate pivots, mechanical handling and lifting equipment, hydraulic motors, agricultural machinery etc.
The construction of the DBM range in general is Steel backing: provides exceptionally high load carrying capacity, excellent heat dissipation. The mid layer is of Sinter bronze powder which provides good wear resistance and excellent load carrying capacity. As well there is a Copper plating with thickness of 0.002mm provides good corrosion resistance

» DBM Range Oil-Hole Design :
Oil Hole is necessary to design if DBM have lubricated sufficiently; the following oil-hole design is recommended, which is also suitable for DBM series without special requirements.

Oil-hole location should keep away from the split gap & loading area, and in favor of oil-taking.
